Our main activity is to promote public exhibitions to public and private associations, museums, public and private art galleries and to anyone who is interested in hosting and organizing exhibitions of ancient Russian icons.

EIKON provides a selected collection of paintings which are the result of twenty years of extensive research, studies and analisis carried out by the iconologist Mauro Pozzati, expert in fine arts and antiquarians for the C.C.I.A.A.of Biella and Vercelli.

In this collection, composed of about 60 paintings, there are icons of the 16th,17th, 18th and the first half of 19th century (heterogeneous for the objects and dimensions).

The exhibition also includes a series of conferences entitled "The ancient icon, where, how and why"…held by Mauro Pozzati who is also at visitors' disposal answering all the questions that come up while observing these extraordinary pieces of art.
