The aim of the Eikon Cultural Association is to spread the knowledge of the "ANCIENT RUSSIAN ICONS" and to provide who is fond of this antique and noble artistic expression with a correct information on the real cultural-historical values of the ancient icons, their origin and the function they have always had upon the christian world, all organized through exhibitions and conferences.

The activity of this association is focused on the figure of the art director Mauro Pozzati, iconologist and expert in fine arts for the C.C.I.A.A.A of Biella and Vercelli. Mr.Pozzati has been collecting and studying these Russian Icons and the cultural and historical background related to them for more than twenty years becoming one of the most valuable experts at international level.
